George Birkadze, creator and dancer, expert in the secrets of dance, theatre and opera; handles the scenic language in a spectacular and innovative form.
In his native Tbilisi, Birkadze's artistic family introduced him to the world of art from early childhood. His experiences in dance began in historical Moscow and continued as he toured Europe. With Birkadze's elegant and technical vision of dance, he has broken molds since the time he first began choreographing. He is capable of blending classical and modern styles into one consistent form.
The audience absorbs the emotions that are portrayed in his works. In this new generation of choreographers, Birkadze's brilliance and knowledge of the history of dance makes him stand out from all the others.
Birkadze has choreographed for operas, large scale productions, and for international stars including Angel Corella, always with outstanding success and praise from audiences and critics. Likewise, the dancers enjoy interpreting his exquisite pieces.
